Launched in 2011, ECO City was planned as Punjab’s first eco-town, around 6,123.7 hectares across 33 villages in Mullanpur, positioned as the greenest of GMADA’s major townships and often referred to locally as the New Chandigarh extension. It’s built around low-density, tree-lined planning rather than dense commercial development.
